We had a great time at CSQ! wondering what CSQ is all about? Let me break it down for you! "Challenge the Status Quo" isn't just a sales kickoff event; it's a mindset—a commitment to challenging our own status quo, year after year. Ray Kroc's story is a testament to the power of persistence and unwavering determination in the face of adversity. He encountered numerous rejections and skepticism when he envisioned turning a small burger joint into a global phenomenon. At every corner, Kroc faced doubters and skeptics who couldn't see the potential in his ambitious plans. Friends, investors, and even the McDonald brothers initially turned down his ideas. They couldn't fathom the scale of what he envisioned for the fast-food industry. However, Kroc refused to succumb to discouragement. He persisted, fueled by an unshakable belief in his vision. He continued to refine his strategies, adapt to setbacks, and tirelessly pursued his goals despite the numerous obstacles. His breakthrough eventually came. Through sheer determination and persistence, Kroc managed to seize an opportunity, acquiring the rights to McDonald's and transforming it into a global empire. His story serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for the ambitious. It illustrates that even in the face of repeated rejection and doubt, those with unwavering dedication to their ambitions will eventually carve their path to success. Kroc's journey exemplifies how resilience, persistence, and an unyielding belief in one's vision can turn seemingly impossible dreams into reality. For all those striving for their ambitions, Kroc's story serves as a reminder that their time to shine will undoubtedly come.#mcdonalds #persistence #ambition #success

I had the privilege of working for Ron Hagelman and Barry Fisher on two separate occasions, each marking significant milestones in my professional journey. The first endeavor involved building a boutique group and multi-life long-term care insurance IMO, Long Term Care Insurance Leaders Coalition. Our collective efforts, guided by Ron and Barry's exceptional leadership, transformed this initiative into an IMO comprising 23 BGAs across the United States, with an impressive total of approximately 60,000 writing agents. Despite the challenges we faced, our perseverance and teamwork led us to success. The second opportunity arose during my time at Ice Floe Consulting, where we collaborated with Genworth and their UK insurance partner on a crucial proof of concept. In essence, we explored the feasibility of introducing a long-term care annuity product into the US market, inspired by a similar offering in the UK tailored for affluent individuals requiring long-term care services. This innovative approach, previously unseen in the US, required meticulous testing and validation. Under Ron and Barry's expert guidance, we demonstrated its viability, paving the way for its introduction in the US market. Our journey at both the Coalition and Ice Floe Consulting presented challenges at times, but our ultimate success validated our efforts.Ron and Barry's approach to accomplishing tasks and achieving goals was far from the traditional "good cop bad cop" dynamic often seen in professional settings. Instead, their method can be best described as Ron embodying the essence of the KJV and Barry representing the NIV of long-term care.Ron's style, akin to the KJV, was marked by a depth of knowledge and a traditional approach rooted in tried-and-tested methods. He brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, much like the timeless and authoritative nature of the KJV Bible. Ron's insights were thorough, detailed, and grounded in established principles, making him a reliable source of wisdom and guidance. On the other hand, Barry's approach mirrored the NIV, characterized by practicality, adaptability, and accessibility. Much like the NIV Bible's clear and modern language, Barry's communication style was straightforward, relatable, and easily understandable. He had a knack for simplifying complex concepts, finding innovative solutions, and navigating dynamic challenges with agility.Together, Ron and Barry formed a formidable team, each bringing their unique strengths to the table. Their collaborative efforts were not about conflicting personalities but rather about complementing each other's strengths to drive success. This balanced and harmonious approach ensured that their strategies were not only effective but also resonated well with diverse audiences, making them a dynamic duo in the realm of long-term care and insurance.I am honored to read about Ron’s recognition at the ILTCI and Barry was there to accept it on his behalf. Barry Fisher

Heroic Courage: It's a powerful concept, but it doesn't always require grand actions. At Peachtree Partners, we define Heroic Courage as stepping forward to address difficult situations or decisions, even when it involves personal risk or standing alone. It's all about using challenges as opportunities to grow and improve! In our stores, this can look like calling out issues or suggesting improvements to ensure we perform at our best. Our "Pancake Police" badge is a fun reminder that sometimes Heroic Courage is about making sure every pancake meets our SOP standards! Our ICOP is always looking out for the correct use of ingredients and making sure we offer the best of the best:-Pasteurized eggs-Water-Butter-IHOP Buttermilk dry mix-And a dash of Ihospitality, Peachtrees core values, and a smile on your plateHere's to all the heroes in our team who show courage every day, ensuring we always strive for excellence.#HeroicCourage #PeachtreePartners #SHINE #Teamwork #Integrity #creativity #PancakePolice #ICOP #corevalues #CommitmentToExcellence #creativity #ProudToServe #TeamSpirit #Innovation #IHOP #Pancakes #SOP #SHINE #prpihop #peachtreerestaurantpartners #diversity #perspective #leadership #team #highlightingemployees IHOP

Here's to picking up where I left off with my last post. The foundational principles of the LDC all revolve around fostering a community of collaboration through transparency and sharing of resources. The central concept we're applying here is familiar; maybe you've applied something similar while playing a game. Sometimes, working with others you may be competing with to accomplish a goal you couldn't do otherwise is advantageous. So, in this instance, for LDC members, instead of not directly cooperating with another company that does almost exactly what they do, they could team up with those other companies to achieve a goal that would otherwise be out of reach. The core group of Local Delivery Coalition members spent a month discussing how they can work together and build trust through leveraging contracts and being transparent. After many hours debating the best ways to accomplish this, we ultimately agreed to a charter and that the charter document would need periodic revisions as we tested our concepts and learned from our outcomes. Ultimately, we aim to provide best-in-class delivery services for the end customer by working closely with businesses that want to differentiate their last-mile deliveries. I'll be back shortly with another update. In the meantime, let me know if you'd like to connect to learn more!
